Masquerade Ball tickets are on sale!!!!

WOOP!!! I've actually never physically been more excited, nor do I think I ever will be, less I am in the arms of (an alive!) Cary Grant. Tickets for the Halloween Masquerade Ball are on sale (click on the title of this post to follow a link to our website, from where you can purchase said tickets). Its gonna be so glamorous and debauched and erotic and... I must take a breath before I hyperventilate....

AND... the lead singer danced on the bar dressed in nothing but his boxers and nipple tassles!!!

The launch night went with such a bang! After a day of stopping traffic we whisked the ladies off for a quick chinese then off they popped down to Santiago's for a quick drink and a twizzle of their tassles!


Once the crowds were calmed with free booze we started off with a few tunes from The Shanghai Syncopators (half of Devil's Jukebox). The sleazy blues of Dr Bordello went down mighty fine. Then a turn from the wonderful Anna Fur Laxis (left) and a beautiful fan dance by Cecilia Rougue (right), much to the joy of the crowd. AND... they got filmed and put on the Yorkshire Evening Post website!!! How exciting is that?!?! Click on the title of this post to see a vid of these saucy ladies giving it their best. Just try and ignore the bits with me talking. Fun game: try and listen for the drunk in the backgroud who kept shouting at me and trying to nick the camera! The cheeky scamp :0s

Later we had floor stamping tunes from blues legend Tom Attah (below left), followed by more Shanghai Syncopators, culminating in the singer indeed singing and dancing on the bar in nothing but boxers and nipple tassles... oh no, wait, he also had on sock suspenders :0D

The night finished with a happily-pissed-on-free-booze crowd all homeward bound armed with artists' briefs and the like, and Nell and me gurning like Posh Spice in our happiness...

The trials and tribulations caused by wandering around Leeds with a bevvy of semi-clad burlesque beauties...

You cannot imagine the stir I caused by dragging beautiful burlesque dancers around Leeds in their knickers last week! We quite literally stopped traffic, and boys young and old, from kids with scooters to middle aged builders to elderly gentlemen with canes were quite taken with my young ladies... we even got some serenading from the bloke in the picture!

We had a fab afternoon with Ric and the girls, including a chance to sit in the window of Rose and Co. I had to restrain myself from nicking the stock, tempted as I was. It looked good enough to eat! Many thanks to our lovely photographer Ric Cole and the beautiful Anna Fur Laxis, Bella Besame, Cissy P and Ruby Ruin. Anna was even flying our to LA for a photoshoot at 6am the morning after!
