The true story about how '3 Albion Place' Leeds dropped us in it!
Now that we have got our deposit back I can finally let you know why we had to change venues for the Masquerade Ball, market, workshops, lectures...
Drum-roll please...
They dropped us in it after we signed a contract and paid our deposits because they didn't want '3 Albion Place' to be associated with something so 'risque' as Leeds Erotica Festival!!! How ironic that they should shun the erotica event that is trying so hard to breakdown stigma associated with erotica! The thing they really didn't like was that when someone 'Googled' '3 Albion Place' Leeds the second result was Leeds Erotica Festival and the Masquerade Ball. How rude, stuck up and generally conservative are they!
I hope to William H Macy we come up on the first page of results when people Google '3 Albion Place' Leeds. I don't know how to make that happen except possibly to type:

ETO Show...
How did you spend your Sunday? I spent mine travelling to the Erotic Trade Only show in Birmingham. It was hot and the trains were slow but it was well worth it! I met some lovely people and bought myself a little treat... I also got some FREE books from Miranda at Xcite! (below right) Thanks Miranda! Miranda will be doing some readings for us during the festival, as well as providing the prize for the short story competition, but more about that later!

Bella Besame's Burlesque Workshops!

I am so pleased to announce that the amazing Bella Besame will be running some of her burlesque workshops for us at the festival!!! i did her 12 week class and it was AWESOME! I NEVER thought I would end up on the stage. I'd be far too nervous! But now there's no stopping me. Put me in front of a couple of hundred people now and its all I can do NOT to take my clothes off! Have a looksy...

I am so excited to announce that we have got our burlesque night all sorted! After so much stress about Leeds having so many rubbish venues and nothing at all what we wanted we (I say 'we' - not really me but I am part of the team so 'we' is allowed I feel...) had an epiphany: A Merrion Street Burlesque Strip using Subculture, Verve, Sandiago and Lounge!!! All for one ticket...
